In Cowtopia I (RSGT 2025), we transported cows from Earth to Mars. But the real challenge begins now: survival. In this experiential simulation, participants must keep both humans and cows alive in hostile Martian conditions. Through three escalating missions, teams experience the shift from chaos to coordination to true collaboration, while embodying the Scrum Values of Commitment, Courage, Focus, Openness, and Respect. The session closes with a structured debrief (What → So What → Now What), giving participants practical insights into resilience, creativity, and team effectiveness in complex, uncertain environments.
カウトピア I (RSGT 2025) では、地球から火星へ牛を輸送することに成功しました。
しかし、本当の挑戦はこれからです――それは「生存」です。
この体験型シミュレーションでは、参加者は過酷な火星の環境で、人間と牛の両方を生かし続けなければなりません。3つのミッションを通じて、チームは 混乱 (Chaos) から 調整 (Coordination) を経て、真の 協働 (Collaboration) へと進化するプロセスを体感します。その過程で、スクラムの価値観（コミットメント、勇気、集中、オープンさ、尊重） を実際に体感していきます。
最後は 「What → So What → Now What」 の構造化された振り返りで締めくくられ、参加者は、複雑で不確実な環境におけるレジリエンス、創造性、チームの有効性について、実践的なインサイトを持ち帰ることができるでしょう。
Outline/Structure of the Workshop
Mars is unforgiving. Food, water, oxygen, and shelter are scarce. The herd must be protected, and the colony kept alive.
This interactive workshop invites participants to step into Cowtopia II: Surviving on Mars, the next chapter of the Cowtopia series. Using storytelling, props, and spatial design, participants will physically experience how teams navigate change under stress.
Across three missions:
- Mission 1 – Chaos on Mars: Systems fail, cows panic. Participants must improvise with incomplete instructions, practicing Courage and Focus.
- Mission 2 – Coordination & Cooperation: Roles are imposed, resources allocated. Teams stabilize survival by practicing Commitment and Respect.
- Mission 3 – Collaboration: Beyond survival, teams align around shared purpose, co-create a thriving colony, and demonstrate Openness and resilience.
Each stage contrasts the lived experience of cooperation, coordination, and collaboration.
The session closes with a reflective debrief (What → So What → Now What), helping participants connect Mars survival back to real-world team dynamics, Scrum practice, and even human–AI collaboration.
Participants leave with both language and embodied experience of how Scrum Values underpin resilience and creativity when navigating uncertainty.
火星は容赦ありません。食料、水、酸素、住居はすべて不足しています。牛の群れを守り、コロニーを生き延びさせなければなりません。
このインタラクティブなワークショップでは、参加者は 「Cowtopia II: 火星で生き残る」 というカウトピア・シリーズの次章に踏み込みます。ストーリーテリング、小道具、空間デザインを用いて、チームがストレス下でどのように変化を乗り越えるかを身体的に体験します。
3つのミッションを通じて進みます：
- ミッション1 – 火星でのカオス：システムが故障し、牛たちはパニックに陥ります。参加者は不完全な指示のもとで即興的に対応し、勇気（Courage） と 集中（Focus） を実践します。
- ミッション2 – 調整と協力：役割が割り当てられ、資源が配分されます。チームは コミットメント（Commitment） と 尊重（Respect） を発揮して生存を安定させます。
- ミッション3 – 協働：単なる生存を超えて、チームは共通の目的に基づき、繁栄するコロニーを共創し、オープンさ（Openness） とレジリエンスを示します。
各ステージは、協力（Cooperation）・調整（Coordination）・協働（Collaboration） の実体験の違いを鮮明に描き出します。
最後は 「What → So What → Now What」 のリフレクションを通じて締めくくられ、参加者は火星での生存体験を現実のチームダイナミクス、スクラム実践、さらには人間とAIの協働へと結びつけます。
参加者は、スクラムの価値観がどのようにレジリエンスと創造性を支え、不確実性を乗り越える助けとなるのか、その言葉と身体的な体験の両方を持ち帰ります。
